Our game updates are pushed out via what is called a "Staged Rollout". The simple explanation for this is that the update is released slowly over several days, beginning with a tiny percentage (for example, 0.5%) and then steadily increasing until 100% of the player base has received the update. This has nothing to do with region, platform or language - it is totally random and controlled by the platform holders, not us. Please be aware that even after 100% rollout, there are still many other reasons beyond our control that could prevent you from receiving the update. These can include phone settings and platforms.

This type of update is the most common in the mobile gaming industry, especially for companies with a large audience like ours. We use it for a myriad of reasons, including (but not limited to) server load and the ability to quickly identify and hot-fix any issues in the update that we somehow missed in testing. This helps us limit any damage to a much smaller percentage of the global userbase.
